Printing with Sunshine
Did you know you can make art using sunlight? You can do this craft at any time of year. If it’s cold out, find plants that survive winter in your area. Use the sunlight streaming through a window in your house.  From the rising of the Sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! — Psalm 113:3
You’ll need:
• a window • plants and other outdoor items • tape • colored construction paper
1. Gather fresh plants and other items— flowers, leaves, grass, pine needles, sticks, stalks, etc.
2. Arrange the items on your paper in a way that looks beautiful to you. Make sure leaves, flowers, or other bulky bits are laid flat.
3. Tape your design in place.
4. Tape your paper to a window that gets strong sunlight. Make sure the plants are facing out, so someone walking by your window can see your design.
5. Now wait. The Sun will do the rest. After a few hours (or days, if the sunlight is not strong), you can remove the plants from your paper. Their outlines will be left behind.
